Large Blue Ceramic Leaf Dish with Gold Accents, Nasturtium
This blue leaf jewelry dish or trinket tray is handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. This beautiful organic leaf shape and intricate details are created from a real leaf from my garden, from a plant called Nasturtium
This jewelry holder is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a translucent blue with beautiful natural variations found in a high fired finish. Real 22kt gold accents are added in a special process for ceramics and the piece is fired a third time in the kiln.
This jewelry holder is handmade from start to finish, entirely by me in my California studio. Each piece is a labor of love that I hope will bring light and joy into your home.
Measurements:
Approximately 6-6.5 inches wide. Each piece is made completely individually from an actual leaf. No two leaves are the same and each piece is formed and designed by hand. Please allow for slight imperfections, variations, and organic shapes which is what makes each one as unique as a fingerprint.
