Frog Prince Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Leaf Dish
A frog prince with his tiny gold crown, proudly sitting on this glittering pond among tiny "lily pads". This one-of-a-kind ceramic dish is handcrafted, glazed and fired in my studio. The beautiful and intricate leaves are imprinted from real Nasturtium leaves. The rim of the dish is accented with 22kt gold as well as the frog prince's crown. The ceramic dish is a special holder for your trinkets, jewelry, or incense cones.
This frog prince ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and kiln-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glazed finish is a glossy warm white with tiny gold sparkles and stars
22kt gold is applied to the rim in a special process, and the dish is fired a third time to bond the gold to the ceramic. It's a labor intensive step that makes the dish extra special. This cute frog dish is handmade from start to finish.

Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
