Dragonfly Jewelry Dish with Lantana Flowers and Gold Accents
The dragonfly captivates us with its beautiful wings and flight, seeming like a messenger from magical world. The dragonfly symbolizes transformation and introspection, letting go of anything that holds us back. This ceramic dish features a beautiful dragonfly hovering near orange lantana flowers, a perfect place for jewelry, trinkets, a special ring, or an incense cone. The ceramic dish is accented with real 22kt gold.
This dragonfly ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The dragonfly is sculpted carefully by hand and then painted by hand before being fired in the kiln to full vitrification. The glaze is a glossy warm white with the beauty of a kiln fired ceramic, showing off the intricate detail of the hand-painted lantana flowers and leaves and the gorgeous wings of the dragonfly. A real 22kt gold overglaze is applied and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.

These ceramics are individually made by hand from start to finish, using real flowers, so please allow for the slight variations and organic shapes which are what makes them unique pieces of art.
