Ladybug with Herb Garden Jewelry Dish, Ceramic with Gold Accent
Ladybugs are not only the protectors of the garden, they are also said to foretell good luck and romance. This cute ladybug ceramic dish is perfect for jewelry, trinkets, a special ring, or an incense cone. The ceramic dish is imprinted with a real fennel flower, sage leaves, oregano, nasturtium, and rosemary leaves. The rim is accented with real 22kt gold.
This ladybug ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The glaze is a glossy warm white with the beauty of a high fired ceramic, showing off the intricate detail of the handpainted fennel flowers and the beautiful texture of the sage and rosemary leaves. A real 22kt gold overglaze is applied and then fired a third time to bond the gold to the piece. It is a labor intensive process that is worth the extra step.

These pieces are individually made by hand from start to finish, and slight variations and organic shapes are what makes them perfectly unique. Each one is a little bit different because they are each pressed from real flowers and then sculpted by hand.
