Purple Daisy Meadow Jewelry Holder, Ceramic Dish with Flower Imprint
This ceramic jewelry holder is covered with purple daisies and has a real 22kt gold accent on the rim. Handmade from start to finish, using flowers from my own garden, creating a special spot for your rings, earrings, other jewelry, or incense cones.
This ceramic dish is made from smooth porcelain-like stoneware clay, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and high-fired once more at approximately 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. The flowers are imprinted from an actual flowers and then handpainted with shades of purple, blue, and green underglazes. The glaze is a glossy soft clear.
Real gold is applied to the rim in a special process designed for ceramics, and the piece is fired a third time to bond the gold. It's a labor intensive process with a beautiful result.

Slight variations and organic shapes in handcrafted ceramics are what make them perfectly unique pieces of art.
